Staff

The First Touch Soccer staff will be local travel, high school and college soccer players with camp experience. In addition, featured college and high school coaches will come on occasion to run a session.

Coach Vanya Klein - Vanya Klein is a 2008 graduate of Wilson High School in NW Washington, DC. Vanya was a 2007 Washington Post All-Met Honorable Mention selection, 2008 captain and MVP. He has done professional development work in Brazil, played and trained with and against Argentine clubs and played with Washington DC Region Division 1 club teams that have won local, regional and national awards. Vanya's skill with the ball is magical. He can demonstrate techniques and communicates easily with the First Touch Soccer age groups.

CoachCaton Dubensky - Catie has been playing soccer since she was four years old in the backyard with her Dad. Like a fine wine waiting in the bottle to ripen, she didn't play travel soccer till the time was right, her skills were honed and trained thru many pick-up and recreation games. In the Spring of 2005 she was a member of the U13 Maryland State Cup championship team and a Region 1 semi-finalist. Now a senior at St. Andrew's Episcopal School in Potomac, Maryland, she was a starting freshman on the Fall 2005 Independent School League (ISL) Division A championship team. Her high school career ended with selection to the 2008 All-ISL team. Catie's skills are of the highest quality and she is capable of teaching girls and boys dribbling, turning and shooting techniques. Check out her goal on the links page of the website.

Coach Vince Tersegno - Vince Tersegno is a former leading scorer for the St. Lawrence University college soccer program. He has played on a National Southeast US Semi-Pro All Star team, competed in several International soccer tournaments and has played with and against former professional players. When not working for Kodak Corporation as a Quality Engineer, he coaches his daughter's U11 travel team. Vince has a national "D" and "Youth" license. He frequents the Washington DC area to support First Touch Soccer (FTS). As a FTS Board member, Vince loves to impart his humorous anecdotes and teaching skills. For those interested in playing the striker position, Vince can demonstrate the tricks of the trade in getting by defenders, anticipating runs and using deft touches to assist and score goals.

Natali Salcedo - Natali Salcedo is a sophmore at Wilson High School in the International Studies Program. She plays midfield for the Tigers varsity soccer team. Her U-15 travel team currently plays in WAGS Division II. She plans to play soccer in college. Natali is bilingual in English and Spanish. She is calm and collected, both on and off the field.
